DSCC launches massive cleaning drive in DMC, DU, BUET | Others

DHAKA, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) today launched a cleaning drive in collaboration with Dhaka University, Dhaka Medical College, and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) administrations in their campus areas. The campaign includes cleaning initiatives and mosquito-control activities. A total of 1,300 cleaners from DSCC's Waste Management and Health Departments took part in the drive simultaneously across the three campuses. Starting at 6 am, the drive was joined by Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) leaders. In DMC and BUET areas, cleaning workers from the institutions also participated.
