DHAKA, Oct 10, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at many places across the country over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00 am today. "Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions," said a BMD bulletin this morning. "One or two places over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions may witness the similar weather," it said with the anticipation of "moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country".
