Nahid calls for trial of army officers accused of crimes against humanity

National Citizen Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam has urged to immediate arrest and bringing to justice of those army members accused of crimes against humanity, following the issuance of arrest warrants by the International Crimes Tribunal. "During the past fascist regime, almost all state institutions were used for partisan interests, and the military was no exception. Some officers, particularly those who served in RAB or DGFI, were involved in enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, and crossfire incidents.
