DHAKA, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) - Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser Sharmeen S Murshid today called for ensuring women's full participation in political party nominations and their mandatory presence at all levels of party leadership. "We want a future Bangladesh where women are not just voters or frontline activists, but also play a central and powerful role in parliamentary leadership and decision-making. The awakening of women's power can build a society free from gender-based oppression," she said.
