Tk 19.13cr revenue collected from import of green chilli thru Hili Land Port | District

DINAJPUR, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) – A total of 5,185 metric tons of green chillies have been imported from India in 662 trucks through Dinajpur Hili Land Port in the last four months. Revenue of Taka 19.13 crore has been collected from import of chillies, Dinajpur Hili Land Port Customs Department Revenue Officer Md. Nizam Uddin confirmed to BSS this evening. He said, “From July to October 8 of the current fiscal year, 5,185 metric tons of green chillies have been imported from India in 662 trucks through Hili Land Port and revenue of about Taka 19.13 crore has been collected from the imported chillies.” "As green chilli is a perishable item, we have quickly completed all the customs procedures...
