Shamit, Fahamedul keep out from starting XI | Sports

DHAKA, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS)- Canada-based midfielder Shamit Shome, forward Fahamedul Islam and regular skipper Jamal Bhuyan have been kept out of the starting eleven in the AFC Asian Cup Qualifying match against Hong Kong, China at the National Stadium in the capital today. Jamal Bhuiyan was also not in a role of captain of Bangladesh last two matches in Asian Cup qualifiers. As a result, midfielder Sohel Rana will wear the armband in the day's vital match.
