DHAKA, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) – A five-day international training on Chemical Incident Preparedness for Hospitals (HOSPREP) concluded in the city today. Principle Staff Officer Lieutenant General SM Kamrul Hassan joined the closing ceremony as the chief guest, while 18 participants both national and international and six instructors from OPCW and Bangladesh, other senior dignitaries from home and abroad were present. According to Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) press release, Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) and Bangladesh National Authority for Chemical Weapons Convention (BNACWC) jointly organised the training.The training aims to initiate nationwide comprehensive capacity building effort in hospitals for dealing with chemical victims, the ISPR release said.
