NBR sets up e-Return Help Desks in all tax zones | Business

DHAKA, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) - The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has set up e-Return Help Desks in all tax zones across the country to facilitate smooth and hassle-free submission of online income tax returns by the esteemed taxpayers. Earlier on August 4, 2025, Finance Adviser Dr Salehuddin Ahmed formally inaugurated the e-Return submission system for the 2025-26 tax year. Taxpayers can now easily fill out and submit their returns online through the website www.etaxnbr.gov.bd. According to NBR, around 2.92 million taxpayers have registered with the e-Return system so far while 635,000 have already submitted their income tax returns for the current tax year through the online platform, said an NBR press release.
