Police plant palm saplings in Jhenaidah to prevent lightning strikes | Others

JHENAIDAH, Oct 9, 2025 (BSS) - Arappur Highway Police have planted 200 palm saplings along the Jhenaidah-Chuadanga highway in Bora area of the district to help prevent lightning strikes and maintain environmental balance. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mrityunjoy Biswas of Arappur Highway Police inaugurated the plantation programme on Thursday morning.
