Ex-BCL leader Khokon, former Muladi mayor Rubel placed on three-day remand | Others

DHAKA, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - A Dhaka court today placed former Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) general secretary Ajoy Kar Khokon and former Muladi Pourashava mayor Shafiqul Zaman Rubel on a three-day police remand in a case filed with Gulshan Police Station under the Anti-Terrorism Act. Gulshan police produced the two before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court seeking a seven-day remand. Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Ziadur Rahman, acting on behalf of the CMM, granted three days after hearing both sides.
