Four detained over Hathazari murder | District

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - Police have detained four people inconnection with the killing of a man in the Madhuna Ghat area of Hathazariupazila. The victim, Abdul Hakim, 52, a resident of the area and owner of Hamim Agrocattle farm, was shot in public on Tuesday afternoon. The arrests were made during overnight raids in different parts of Chattogramcity and district, police said. Kazi Tarek Aziz, Additional Superintendent of Police (Hathazari Circle),confirmed the detentions, saying the suspects are being interrogated todetermine their involvement in the murder.
