2 more witnesses gave depositions against Bodi in corruption case | Law and Court

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 08, 2025 (BSS) - Two more prosecution witnesses today gave depositions against former lawmaker from Cox’s Bazar-4 constituency Abdur Rahman Bodi in connection with a corruption case. The prosecution witnesses-former senior officer of Islami Bank Limited Takenaf branch Rezaul Karim and its assistant officer Tanvir Alam gave their depositions before the court of Chattogram Divisional Special Judge Mizanur Rahman. With today’s depositions, the court so far recorded statements of 10 witnesses of the case. Accused Bodi was virtually connected with the court from Dhaka’s Keraniganj Central Jail where the witnesses were also cross examined by Bodi’s lawyer at that time.
