Navy rescues 26 fishermen from a disabled trawler | Others

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Navy rescued 26 fishermen from the trawler MV Tajminur Rahman, which suffered an engine breakdown about 27 nautical miles off the Cox's Bazar lighthouse. The trawler had 26 fishermen from Maheshkhali on board. The navy ship 'Banouja Shaheed Mohibullah' rescued the trawler during a patrol of the sea and coastal areas as part of the 'Ma Hilsa Conservation-2025' campaign.Navy sources reported that a trawler's unusual movements prompted a navy ship to approach it.
