Algerian envoy meets Jamaat Ameer to discuss bilateral ties, democracy | Others

DHAKA, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - The Algerian Ambassador to Bangladesh Abdel WahabSaidani today paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islami Ameer DrShafiqur Rahman at his latter's office at Bashundhara in the capital thismorning. The meeting took place around 12pm and was attended by Secretary General andformer Member of Parliament Professor Mia Golam Parwar, said a press release. The dialogue focused on strengthening mutual relations between Bangladesh andAlgeria, as well as the overall situation in Bangladesh.
