Govt working to make country's tax system more transparent, business  friendly: NBR Chairman  | Business

DHAKA, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md AbdurRahman khan today said that the government is working to make the country's taxsystem more transparent, technology-driven, and business-friendly withdigitalization and reform of tax laws remaining as top priorities. "Digitalization and reform of tax laws remain top priorities to bringdiscipline and efficiency to the revenue administration. We are trying hardto make everything digital so that it will be very and very difficult-next toimpossible-to tamper with the system in the coming days," he said.
