Committee formed to implement typhoid vaccination program | News

DHAKA, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) – Government has asked to form a coordination committee at local government level across the country to ensure proper implementation of the typhoid vaccination programme on October 12 across the country. Mayor or administrator will lead the 10-member committee. Other members of the committee are Police Commissioner, Civil Surgeon, Deputy Director (DD) of Family Planning Directorate, DD of Social Services Office, DD of Islamic Foundation, District Education Officer, District Primary Education Officer and Senior Information Officer of the District. Chief Health Officer of respective upazila will be the member-secretary.
