DHAKA, Oct 8, 2025 (BSS) - Detective Branch (DB) of police has arrested 11 leaders and activists of Awami League (AL) and its affiliated organizations from different parts of the capital city on charges disrupting the law and order by bringing out flash processions.Of the arrestees, seven are leaders of the banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and four others are members of AL and its affiliated organizations.The arrestees came from Kotalipara of Gopalganj district with the aim of deteriorating the law and order situation in Dhaka Metropolitan City and creating fear in the public through subversive acts.Deputy Commissioner of DB (media and public relations) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed their arrest.The arrestees have been identified as...
