BNP seeks teachers’ support in forming merit-based govt: Tarique Rahman

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Tuesday said BNP seeks support and cooperation from teachers in the upcoming elections to establish a knowledge and merit-based state and government. “The spontaneous support of the people is needed to implement all the plans taken by BNP for the development of state-politics and government. The support of teachers, the most conscious part of the society, is needed,” he said while virtually addressing the teachers' rally at Suhrawardy Udyan on the occasion of The World Teachers' Day.
