The education authorities have ordered the payment of salaries and allowances for principals, headteachers, and other staff of MPO-registered private institutions who were forced to resign. On Tuesday, the ministry’s Secondary and Higher Education Division sent a letter to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) with the directive. The letter said although investigations are ongoing into teachers and staff who resigned under pressure, many of them have not been receiving their salaries and allowances. They have highlighted in applications that this has made their lives extremely difficult.
