DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed a case against former minister and lawmaker R.A.M Ubaidul Moktadir Chowdhury on charge of acquiring assets beyond known source of income and suspicious transactions. ACC Director General Md Akhtar Hossain said deputy assistant director Abu Mohammad Anwarul Masud was in charge of investigating the case filed against the ex-lawmaker of Brahmanbaria-3 constituency. Speaking at a media briefing at the ACC head-office today, he said that the ACC also instructed former director general of the directorate of secondary and higher education Fahima Khatun, wife of Moktadir Chowdhury, to submit her wealth statement to the commission.
