The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has decreased by Tk 2.47 per unit for October, taking advantage of the global market cost adjustment. As a result, the price of the most commonly used 12kg cylinder has dropped by Tk 29 to Tk 1,241. The price was set at Tk 1,270 in September. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new LPG rates, effective from 6pm, for October on Tuesday.
