DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) fromMohammadpur Police Station overnight arrested 14 people allegedly involved invarious criminal activities as part of a special anti-crime campaign underits jurisdiction. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mohammadpur Police Station Kazi Md Rafique Ahmedtold BSS that they netted them on charges of various crimes like mugging,drug trading and theft in their latest drive carried out by several teams. The police station chief said the suspects were produced before a Dhaka courtwhich sent them to jail to await trial. Ahmed said Mohammadpur Police Station arrested over 600 suspected criminalslast month while 125 cases were, so far, filed against the criminals as well.
