Landlord held over tenant’s murder in CTG | District

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) have arrested the main accused, Md Mobarak Hossain (35), in the Phul Mia murder case filed with Bayezid Bostami Police Station in the city. Acting on a tip-off, the elite force conducted a raid in the Bibirhat Bazar area under Panchlaish Police Station on Sunday night and arrested Mobarak, said Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) of RAB-7 ARM Mozaffar Hossain. He said the arrestee was later handed over to Bayezid Bostami Police Station for further legal action.
