DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - Dhamrai police has arrested five leaders and activists of Awami League and its front organizations, including a former upazila chairman from Nabinagar area, for their alleged involvement in mass killing in Ashulia during the last year’s mass uprising. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Dhamrai Thana Monirul Islam said that police arrested them from a residential area at Nabinagar during a raid at about 10.30pm on Monday.
