Two killed in Tangail road crash | District

TANGAIL, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - Two construction workers were killed and eight others injured in a road accident in Bangra area under Kalihati upazila of the district this afternoon. The deceased were Zahar Ali, 40, of Konabari area and Muktar Ali, 45, a resident of Baniafor area of the upazila. The accident occurred on the Tangail-Jamalpur highway around 2.30 pm when a Dhaka-bound bus hit a pickup van from behind, leaving 10 pickup van passengers injured, Tangail Sadar Hospital Police Box In-charge Alamgir Hossain said.
