Sumitomo Corporation opens scholarship applications for DU students | News

DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - Japan's Sumitomo Corporation Asia and OceaniaPrivate Limited has invited applications from the students of DhakaUniversity (DU) for its scholarships. The organisation plans to grant scholarships to 10 regular students of theuniversity, according to a press release issued here today. The scholarship is specifically open to regular students enrolled in thefirst year of the Undergraduate programme during the 2022-2023 academicsession. Applicants must have successfully passed the Higher Secondary or equivalentexamination in 2022. A key academic requirement is that applicants must haveachieved a minimum GPA of 4.80 in both the SSC and HSC examinations,excluding the fourth subject.
