Ex-MP Bubli on 2-day remand in anti-terrorism case | Others

DHAKA, Oct 7, 2025 (BSS) - A court here today placed Tamanna Nusrat Bubli, former lawmaker for reserved seats for women and leader of Narsingdi district Awami League, on a two-day remand in a case lodged under Anti-Terrorism Act with the capital's Tejgaon Police Station. Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Saifuzzaman passed the order as police produced Bubli before the court and pleaded to place her on a 10-day remand. The court later sent her back to jail. Police, on September 28, 2025, arrested Tamanna Nusrat Bubli from the capital's Mirpur area.
