The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has formally launched an investigation against the Awami League as a political party, appointing an investigation officer to lead the process. Chief Prosecutor of the tribunal, Tajul Islam, confirmed the development on Tuesday (October 7). Speaking to reporters, he said that if the names of other parties surface during the investigation, action will also be taken against them.
