Over 24.59 lakh children to get typhoid vaccines in Ctg | News

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - A month-long free typhoid vaccination campaign for children aged 6 months to 15 years will be conducted from October 12 to November 13, 2025 in the district. Over 24.59 lakh children will be covered under the campaign. This includes 16.32 lakh children in 15 upazilas of the district and 8.27 lakh children in 41 wards of the Chattogram City Corporation (CCC), Civil Surgeon Dr Mohammad Jahangir Alam told BSS. The health administration has set a target to administer typhoid vaccines to 154,749 children as part of the Typhoid Vaccination Campaign 2025.
