BanglaFact detects distorted comments of Mirza Fakhrul | Others

DHAKA, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Press Institute Bangladesh's (PIB) fact-checking and media research team, BanglaFact, has detected propaganda carried out by distorting comments of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. BanglaFact has verified that 'Mirza Fakhrul's comments were spread by distorting it. A photocard with the design of Channel 24 was recently circulated on social media Facebook, claiming that Mirza Fakhrul commented, “After listening to Dr Yunus’s speech at the United Nations, I felt that he came here to spread false messages by spending money unnecessary”.
