Rangamati targets over 1.54 lakh children for typhoid vaccination | District

RANGAMATI, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - The district administration has set a target to administer typhoid vaccines to 154,749 children under the Typhoid Vaccination Campaign 2025. Of the total, around 86,150 students have already registered across 10 upazilas in the district. The vaccination drive will be conducted on October 12 at 1,222 centres covering 1,249 schools. The information was disclosed at a press conference held today at the conference room of the Civil Surgeon's Office, jointly organised by the Health Services Division of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare and the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
