DHAKA, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has imposed a ban on all kinds of gatherings and rallies in Bangladesh Secretariat and Jamuna, official residence of the Chief Adviser and their surrounding areas from Tuesday.In a public order signed by DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali, the DMP imposed the restriction under the powers vested in Section 29 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance (Ordinance No. III/76) in the interest of maintaining public order and ensuring safety and security.According to the notification, any kind of meeting, rally, mass gathering, procession, human chain, sit-in strike, procession, has been banned from...
