Maldivian FM keen to deepen collaboration with Bangladesh | News

DHAKA, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Abdulla Khaleel has expressed keen interest in further strengthening collaboration with Bangladesh across various potential sectors. He made the remark when newly appointed Bangladesh High Commissioner to the Maldives, Dr Md Nazmul Islam, paid a courtesy call on him at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Malé‚ on Sunday, according to a message received here today. During the meeting, Minister Khaleel congratulated Dr Nazmul Islam on his appointment and lauded Bangladesh's continued support and friendship toward the Maldives.
