DHAKA, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places in the country over the next 24 hours, commencing from 9 am. "Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy falls at places over the country," according to a bulletin issued by the BMD this morning.
