DHAKA, Oct 6, 2025 (BSS) - The new High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives Dr Md Nazmul Islam has presented his letter of credence to Maldivian President Dr Mohamed Muizzu at a ceremony held at the President's Office in Male. The High Commissioner was ceremonially escorted from Republic Square to the President's Office in a traditional cultural procession, Haiykolhu, accompanied by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Drum and Trumpet Band on Sunday, according to a message received here today.
