Police have recovered the body of a man from Dhaka’s Dhanmondi Lake. Identified as 18-year-old Omar Faruk, police said, he had been scolded by his family the day before for not helping with his father's business. On Sunday, Dhanmondi Police Inspector (Investigation) Abdul Alim said: “Upon receiving the information, we recovered the body from the lake. We did not find any wounds on the body.” The dead hailed from Boubazar Tannery Mor in the capital’s Hazaribagh. He quit school after the fourth grade.
