CHATTOGRAM, October 5, 2025 (BSS) - Journalist organizations, including the Chattogram Press Club, CMUJ, and TV Journalist Network, have demanded immediate arrest of those involved in launching attacks on journalists while they were carrying out their professional duties here. The terrorists launched attacks on Ekhon TV Bureau Chief and Special Correspondent Hossain Ziyad and their cameraperson Md. Parvez while they were gathering news in the Loharpool area of the Jungle Salimpur in Sitakunda upazila on Sunday morning. Both journalists sustained serious injuries in the attack, and their cameras were vandalized. Additionally, their mobile phones and wallets were stolen during the incident.
