Three killed in separate motorcycle accidents in Gazipur

Three people have been killed and two others injured in separate motorcycle accidents in Gazipur. The crashes took place on the Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway at Rajendrapur and on the Shibbari-Chandna Chowrasta road near the Bangladesh Rice Research Institute on Saturday, according to Mehedi Hasan, chief of Gazipur Metropolitan Police's Sadar Station. Police said the identities of the victims could not be confirmed immediately. “Two people were killed in a motorcycle accident at Rajendrapur around 11:30pm,” Mehedi said. Police recovered the bodies from the scene and sent them to the morgue at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital, he added.
