Following his return from Singapore, Nurul Haque Nur, chief of the Gono Odhikar Parishad, has demanded justice for the brutal attack on him, vowing to shame the perpetrators in public by tying "towels around their necks" if the demand is not met. Speaking at the Shahjalal International Airport on Saturday, he compared his recent ordeal to past political struggles, saying he “never faced such barbaric attacks from law enforcement during Sheikh Hasina’s rule”.
