Tofail Ahmed passes away

Tofail Ahmed, a nine-term parliamentarian, former minister, and lifelong Awami League stalwart, passed away at 9:30 pm on Saturday, October 4, at a private hospital in Dhaka. He was 81. Salauddin, personal assistant to Tofail Ahmed’s nephew and former MP Ali Azam Mukul, confirmed the news to Jago News.
