Former Liverpool ace Kewell named coach of Vietnamese side | Sports

HANOI, Oct 4, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Former Liverpool winger and Australia international Harry Kewell was named coach of top-tier Vietnamese side Hanoi FC on Saturday, the club said. The 47-year-old, who also played for Leeds United and Galatasaray in Turkey, has never had the same success as a manager that he enjoyed as a player. He was fired as coach of Japan's Yokohama F Marinos in July 2024, just six months into the job.
