Plastic waste removed from Kachikhali beach in Sundarbans | Others

BAGERHAT, Oct 4, 2025 (BSS) - The Kachikhali patrol team has successfully removed plastic waste from the Kachikhali beach in the Sundarbans as part of a regular clean-up initiative. The plastic waste was collected and removed throughout the day on Friday, officials said. East Sundarbans Bagerhat Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Rezaul Karim Chowdhury told BSS that the beach will now be cleaned once every month to help maintain ecological balance and protect wildlife in the area.
