Nagorik Oikya protests detention of aid workers, flotilla to Gaza  | Others

DHAKA, Oct 3, 2025 (BSS) - Nagorik Oikya has strongly condemned the detention of ships from the Global Sumud Flotilla, carrying relief for Palestinians in route to Gaza, by Israeli forces in international waters. The protest was expressed at an emergency meeting of the party's central committee on Thursday at Eskaton in the capital, with Nagorik Oikya President Mahmudur Rahman Manna in the chair, said a press release issued today. Leaders at the meeting demanded immediate release of the detained humanitarian workers and called for ensuring that aid reaches Gaza.
