DHAKA, Oct 03, 2025 (BSS) - A Dhaka court today granted a five-day remand to Rifatul Islam Pavel, Joint General Secretary of Jubo Sanghati, a front organization of Jatiya Party (Roshan Ershad), in a case under the Anti Terrorism Act. Pavel was accused of being involved in a plot to overthrow the government. Police produced him before the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate's Court seeking a seven-day remand for proper investigation.
