DHAKA, Oct 3, 2025 (BSS) - A high-level government delegation today visited Pabna to oversee the feasibility of establishing a direct railway connection between Dhaka and Pabna. The delegation assessed the feasibility of launching the new rail link and reviewed the possibility of relocating the existing Kazirhat ferry terminal to Khaschar, said a press release. The government has already undertaken a series of initiatives aimed at building a modern and efficient communication network between Dhaka and Pabna, with a focus on reducing fuel costs, saving travel time and facilitating faster movement of passengers and goods.
