Bangladesh slams Gaza flotilla interception, calls for activists’ release

The Bangladesh government has strongly condemned the interception of vessels of the Global Sumud Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza and the detention of activists aboard the vessels. In a press release on Friday (October 3), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation. The government said the interception of the flotilla by Israeli forces constitutes a clear violation of international law and a blatant example of using hunger as a weapon.
