Army rescues 2 alive following incidents of boat capsize in Kaptai Lake | Others

DHAKA, Oct 2, 2025 (BSS) – Army personnel along with members of fire service rescued two persons alive and recovered three dead bodies following an incident of boat capsize in Kaptai Lake of Rangamati. In a sudden storm on September 30 night, several boats sank in the BFDC Ghat, Bhaibonchhara, Langadu Launch Ghat, Guilshakhali Beel and Bhasanyadam areas of Longadu region of Rangamati, said a release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate this evening. “With a frantic effort, Army successfully carried out rescue operation on September 30 . . . after the incidents of boat capsize.
