Bangladesh has reported two more dengue deaths in the past 24 hours, raising the tally of deaths to 202 this year. The health directorate bulletin on Thursday said the latest victims were undergoing treatment at DNCC Dedicated COVID-19 Hospital and Chittagong Medical College Hospital. Over the past 24 hours, 396 new patients were admitted to hospitals with dengue across the country, raising the total number of hospitalisations this year to 48,228. September recorded the highest hospitalisation rates this year, with 15,866 patients.
