BEIRUT, Lebanon, Oct 2, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Lebanon said two people were killed in an Israeli strike on the country's south on Thursday, the latest deadly attack despite a November ceasefire between Israel and militant group Hezbollah. "The Israeli enemy strike that targeted a vehicle on the Jarmak-Khardali road led to a preliminary toll of two dead and another wounded," Lebanon's health ministry said in a statement. The area is located around 10 kilometres (six miles) from the Israeli border.
