Breast cancer awareness campaign begins in Ctg | News

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 1, 2025 (BSS) – A month-long breast cancer awareness program was launched in Chattogram today. City Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain inaugurated the program at 11 am at the Chattogram Medical College premises. Following the inauguration, a grand procession led by the Mayor commenced from Chattogram Medical College Hospital and concluded at BMA Bhaban at GEC Crossing, passing through various significant city streets. In his address as the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony, Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain stressed that awareness efforts should not be limited to women alone, urging men to actively participate in preventing breast cancer by supporting women wholeheartedly.
